Hi, I’m Victoria – founder of The Success Smith – and I take your privacy seriously. Not in a boring checkbox way, but in a real, human, “I care about your data like I care about people” kind of way.

This privacy policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit my site or work with me. I’ve tried to make it as clear and jargon-free as possible, but if anything’s fuzzy or confusing, just drop me a note at victoria@‌thesuccesssmith.com and I’ll happily translate.

1. Who I am

I’m Victoria Stakelum, founder of The Success Smith, based in Ireland but working with clients all over the world. I’m the data controller for this site and responsible for keeping your data safe, respected, and used ethically.

2. What data I collect (and why)

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect:

  • Name + email address – when you sign up for my emails, downloads, or offers

  • Contact info – when you book a call or become a client

  • Purchase data – when you buy something from me (securely processed – I never see your card details)

  • Messages + form submissions – when you contact me through the website or respond to offers

  • Site usage info – like what pages you visit, via cookies and analytics tools

I do not collect sensitive personal data like health or identity info. However, if you share personal experiences during coaching, that stays between us and is treated with full confidentiality in accordance with the codes of ethics I work under – TCA: The Coaching Academy Code of Ethics

3. What I do with your data

Here’s what I use your data for:

  • To send you things you’ve signed up for (like resources or emails)

  • To run and improve the website and user experience

  • To book calls and deliver coaching or content

  • To send occasional marketing or updates (only with your consent)

  • To process payments and manage orders or subscriptions

  • To meet legal or tax obligations

I’ll never spam you, never sell your data, and never do anything weird with it.

4. Platforms + partners I use

I use a variety of secure platforms and tools to run this business – things like email marketing, CRMs, online forms, scheduling tools, coaching platforms, landing page builders, and analytics. These may include (but aren’t limited to) providers like:

  • ScoreApp

  • Stripe / PayPal / Payfunnels

  • Tidycal

  • GoHighLevel (GHL)

They only access your data to help me serve you, and I only use providers that are compliant with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or relevant international standards.

5. Cookies 🍪

Like most websites, this one uses cookies – the tiny text files that help your browser remember stuff and help me understand how people use the site.

Cookies track things like:

  • Page visits

  • Time spent on site

  • Clicks + scrolls

You can change your cookie settings anytime in your browser.

6. Your rights (wherever you live)

If you’re in the UK or EU, you’re covered under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you’re in the US, Canada, or elsewhere, I aim to meet global best practices and treat your data respectfully no matter where you live.

Where applicable, you have the right to:

  • Access the data I hold on you

  • Ask me to update or correct it

  • Ask me to delete it (unless I’m legally required to keep it)

  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data authority

To exercise any of these rights, just email me at victoria@thesuccesssmith.com – I’ll respond as swiftly as I can (and definitely within 30 days, as required by law).

7. How long I keep your data

I only keep your data for as long as I need it to do what you’ve asked me to do – or for as long as I’m legally required to (like tax records). After that, it’s securely deleted or anonymised.

8. How I protect your data

Your data is stored securely using password-protected tools and GDPR-compliant platforms. I don’t print anything or store sensitive details outside secure systems. It’s all treated with care, confidentiality, and common sense.

9. Changes to this policy

If I ever update this policy (for clarity, compliance, or curiosity), I’ll post the latest version here. If anything major changes, I’ll let you know via email if you’re subscribed.
